Anyone noticed that simple affiliate sites like eshops or so which got default content getting banned by Google very fast? I've had like 5 sites for more than 1 year and recently noticed that all of them are now banned. Though had strong links from premium directories and nothing shady...

Although it's sad to the site is banned, I hope this wont' impact your business, since I believe most of your traffic are not coming from Google. :)

Try using 'no-follow' on your affiliate links, I've heard of some people getting their PR back. I still get Google traffic to my affiliate pages, too, so I think its working.

Well, they were ranking pretty well.

korr, I mean't eshops, like you upload script which sells ringtones or whatever (all default) on your domain and build links for it

No, as long as you write unique content... And now idea how can you rewrite hundreds of items descriptions to make it unique.
