    Hello!

Can anyone recommend a good solid, working, out-of-the-box affiliate script to help us sell 15-20 products online?

Our sales site is up and running and now we want to offer an affiliate program for others to promote?

    Greatly appreciated!

    :)

I can recommend about 20 different ones. Some have over 100 features. Which one you pick depends on your affiliate strategy, online business strategy, market segment, affiliate programme features, and product lines. Also price, quality, and scalability are factors.

Give more details or send me a pm and I'll try help you narrow it down.

    Regards,
    Peter

I've checked out your site ... great resource and many programs to choose from.

Basically what we are looking for is:

    - PHP/MySQL based
    - our own hosting
    - ability to modify code (no Smarty templates)
    - Affiliate accounts and reports
    - text & banner capable
    - affordable (<$500)
    - products we have currently: 10

Hope that helps a bit ...

    thanks

I would certainly take a look at Post Affiliate Pro from Webradev

Despite the fact they recently doubled the price (people looked on the script as "too cheap"), it is one of the most full featured scripts available.

Yes PAP is good value and another to check is idevaffiliate from idevdirect. They both come packed with features and are php/mysql. As for modifying the scripts you need to check with them re how that affects licensing and support.

You can compare them side-by-side. Check the reporting features and payout options, as this can sometimes be the deciding factor.

I have been in touch with both vendors and they are quite responsive. One uses a neat trouble ticketing system integrated with email and the other has a forum approach, for support.

    Regards,
    Peter
