Say I have a landing page with some direct affiliate links on it - e.g. www.affil.com/offer=4534?and?4545 What if I want to redirect all these links through my own domain first, so that all the links on my landing page would be like: www.mydomain.com/offer=4534?and?4545 www.mydomain.com/offer=4534?and?4545 would redirect to www.affil.com/offer=4534?and?4545 and www.mydomain.com/offer=8888?and?88888 would redirect to www.affil.com/offer=8888?and?88888 - the only thing that would change is the domain name. I have looked at various htaccess tutorials, but cant seem to find the correct syntax. I assume that the .htaccess would be placed in the hosting directory for mydomain.com Any help appreciated!
Hi Entrep, Before take we look on htaccess... Why are you using your own www.mydomain.com in AdWords landing page and not affill.com as landing page directly? What is your idea doing this?
Yes, why you don't put the www.affil.com/offer=4534?and?4545 directly as landing page? why do you need your domain just to redirect?
First you said that the only thing that you want to change would be would be the domain name: now you say a different thing: Is not a simple domain redirect? I asked more information because in your first post you didn't provide enough information but now is less clear what or why want this. In AdWords the system consider the very last redirected and ignore the other pages as landing page - if you plan to put your myDomain as display URL this will not work - if this is the case.
You havent understood me. 1. My adwords link directly to my landing page. 2. My landing page links to my CJ affiliate links 3. I want to have my landing page link to one of my own domains, and from that domain, the links are redirected to my CJ affiliate links
