Ok so I have a question for all you pros out there that know this information. I am apart of some affiliate programs. We all know how long the url's can be. We also know a lot of people do know an affiliate link when they see it. Im sure you've heard this before, but what I did was go to the redirects section in my cpanel for my domain.
    For example:
I made www.whatever.com/product and redirected it to my affiliate link. So now instead of using the affiliate link, I just use the redirect link. My question is, if someone clicks on my redirect link and it takes them to the affiliate link, and they sign up, is it still going to give me credit?

    It should do.

You can check it yourself depending on the affiliate program involved. For example if you are promoting a ClickBank product you can click through your redirection link, hit the buy button and if your affiliate ID appears at the bottom of the payment screen you'll know for sure that you have your redirect set up correctly.
