Haven't had any luck with Hosting and SEO programs.
But I've been sticking to Tickets, Travel, and Credit.
Lot's of competition, but I like it and have been doing ok with them.

I'd like to get into the Poker a little more. I have some good catchy names.

I think the best affiliate programs to promote are those that have recurring monthly payments.
For instance I am an affiliate to a company that pays out $100 for every person I refer that signs up to them.
Now all they get is $9.95 per month but they are so confident the person will last the distance they are willing to pay up to 12 months income for a signup. I might add that with this particular program their is no contract so the subscriber can quit at any time.

Pay or cable TV, broadband, hosting, memberships, all of these and similar items pay out a few months income per signup like this. Or they pay a percentage every month so long as the person keeps paying for the service.

If you use CJ/SAS take a look at the EPC figures...This indicates if other people are making money through the program...But you don't know how, or through what channel though...

I don't think the people making loads of money will answer your question fully as they don't want/need competition :)

If you're looking for parasite fee programs with great support check out AMWSO...www.AMWSO.com...

    Good luck!

What I don't like about Clickbank products is its like they all use a similar template. Very spammy looking one page sites that go on for ever, full of stuff begging you to buy.
I only place Clickbank products on my sites until I can find a better alternative. I find they rarely convert.
In comparison to products that have a low key page the coversion rate is way behind.

Forget Adsense. Forget Chitkita. Forget pay per sale.

I make the bulk of my money with pay per lead!

There are network sites that gather pay per lead campaigns from different companies and different subjects. When you join a network site you get to promote any pay per lead campaign you want. The leads could be anything from $1 for an email or Zip Code to $10 for longer forms.

To get an idea. Check out the offers on http://www.extrafreebies.com
I make a few dollars everytime someone fills in the first page of every free offer.

And if you are interested in joining these network sites and having a look at the hundreds of campaigns available check out : http://www.extrafreebies.com/webmasterfreebies.php

I've had some success with a couple of CJ affiliate programs. I'm now testing out about 10 affiliate programs from CJ and at least 3 of them are profitable.

By the way, is Clickbank really that good? I hear a lot of talk about it but most of the products offered on Clickbank are junk and they also have very crappy sales pages IMO. So does this really convert?
