Can anyone tell me where to find a good affilate program. Tried a few from clickbank but with no success (clicks but no sales). Would like to find one that will generate some kind of income, then try a few others. HELP:confused:

The question you're asking is one of the questions you'll rarely ever hear an answer for.

Figuring out which affiliate programs work and which do not is half of the game - it's even more difficult taking a program and making it work.

That's often the method when promoting CB products, you usually have to do some sort of presell or convincing prior to shoving them on the landing page.

    HI imac,

the problem is not the afiliate program. It is true that sometimes, the merchant sales letter doesn't convert, but the work must be done by you is:

    Preselling.

If you presell well, there is no reason that you make no sales.
Also, try to buy the affiliate program if you can, and make an endorsement with your own experience. sometimes, you don't even need to buy it: You just ask the merchant (provide him your website stats, your list of subscribers... or something like this).

IF he is interested, he will send you his product for FREE.

Since this is in Adwords, I assume you intend to promo via Google's ad network. Is this correct?

Any affiliate program is only as good as the site's conversion rate. Since you do not mention whether you will create a representative site, or just advertise the vendor's site (via adwords), your success will vary accordingly.

As for a target industry -- allow me to suggest foreclosures -- and its associated products, services, listings, ebooks, training, etc.

Since the American economy is tanking, more and more investors will attempt to profit from the housing bubble crash and the growing number of homes in default. Undoubtedly this sad scenario has, and will continue to create online opportunities for people like yourself.

Currently I've been helping revamp foreclosures.com's affiliate program (to make it more affiliate friendly) as well as providing SEO tips to management. Foreclosures.com has three main product offers and soon as the new site makeover is complete, I think it'll be a real winner.
