We're running a few local newspapers and have corresponding websites to go with them. They are small websites with little traffic. Are there any affiliate programs such as related news, related videos etc that would work with smaller websites with small traffic? Thanks.
I think most affiliate programs will accept you even with little traffic, amazon, linkshare, cj,etc...
We've already applied to Adsense. We never really had the need to as we sell advertising space directly in conjunction with the physical copies of the newspapers, but I thought of perhaps doing some kind of rotation with Google Adsense just to bring in a little extra revenue. I did notice that DigitalSpy have a video affiliate in there that pulls related videos to their news articles. I contacted them but they require mega traffic so that one was out of the window. Ideally, we'd need something that ties in with the news stories as opposed to Amazon and the likes.
