    What is affiliate marketing? I have heard this tactic of marketing. I do not have any idea about it. Any comments or information is highly appreciated.

    Affiliate marketing is a web-based marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's marketing efforts.

    Example would be you getting paid £10 when you send someone to a golf site, where they then buy golf clubs.

    there are millions of web web about this you could explore but essentially
    you place an add/promote a third party product/service and get paid for the agreed 'action' - product bought/sign up that the 'merchant' (product provider)
    is offering,

    You can easily search out various affiliates links also in various blog and website also....

    Basically Affiliate Marketing boils down to you selling other peoples products or services in exchange for a commission. It's one of the easiest things to do as you don't need to keep stock or anything. You just refer people to the seller/provider.

    Affiliate marketing isn't easy money. You have to find a good market niche, a good product/service and do promote your business very hard.
    In other words, affiliate marketing is legwork, but it's a good way to earn, if you know what you're doing.

    I think you get the idea about what affiliate marketing is. Now how to do it correctly is an ongoing learning experience. Marketing is a very fun and interesting way to make money. You can do it on your terms and time. however, you will have to stay on top of the game if you want to make more than a couple hundred dollars a month. If done right, it is rewarding. If done wrong, it can cost more than you make(quickly).

    I would suggest that if you are going to do it, commit to it. Commit to learning all the new ways people are marketing. Look at all the tools you can find. Affiliate marketing is like mining for gold, You might find a little on the surface but for more you are going to have to dig.

    Good luck in all your marketing endevors.
