Affiliate marketing with PPC - help clarify this

    I'm a n00b in online marketing, and would like to know when people say affiliate marketing with PPC are they suggesting making a site where a product of an affiliate is promoted (IE: Amazon affiliate program product), and the site owner (ME) then buys adwords, to drive traffic to my site, in an effort to sell the amazon product?

    yes. ppc = pay per click.

    Yes to sell amazon product and in return you'll earn commission from amazon.
    But this way is too much consume money.
    You better use more saving method such as using CPM ads.
