I'm 100% newbie in affiliate marketing, so I wan't to ask couple of questions..

As far as I have understood, affiliate marketing with CB goes like this.

    1. You register in CB and pick up your product.
    2. You create a landing page, the place where you sell product.
    3. You start advertising campaign to the landing page, for example with AdWords.
    4. Sales and easy $$$!

This is too good to be true, otherwise all people would do this!

Why some people fail of doing this?

What's the hard point in this?

Also some tips and tricks would be good, and links to help newbies with affiliate marketing.

    Thanks !

That's one way to do it, but it's not easy, especially if you don't know what you're doing. But if you know what you're doing you can make quite a nice amount of money.

    btw, are you from Bosnia?

The method you described is PPC affiliate marketing, and it might be easy, but not when you are just starting out. Prepare to lose lots of cash, mate....

Instead try some Article marketing, for example or anything which is investment free.

Article marketing is a good way to start.
Think about making blogs about different subjects and put your affiliate link in it. (Don't forget to cloak your affiliate link)
When you earn enough money, you can take other ways to promote affiliate products.

Remember: Earn money and make more money from it, don't spend it!

Ok, thanks guys. I will stay at Digitalpoint and learn as much as I can from affiliate marketing. Some day I will start affiliate marketing, and hopefully make living from it. Actually, it shouldn't be hard because 500$/month it's enough to live in Bosnia.

    Yes ;) Why?

Affiliate marketing in this way can be risky. Bidding on keywords etc. Your reseach has to be good, and if you have a mathematical and analytical mind then you should do really well with PPC. If thats a struggle for you though, make sure you read up a load on PPC.

You can get traffic to your blog using free methods, but you're going to have to spend a lot of time on that, and again, some times money.

Another tip is, build an opt-in list when you are affiliate marketing so you can email your subscribers with affiliate offers etc. Theres actually A LOT to learn about this and it isn't as simple as you mentioned because you are right, EVERYONE could do this if it was that easy. The truth is, the first few months can be very hard, but if you work at it, it all pays off in the end.

When I started out, I viewed Affiliate Marketing in similar light. However, when you really kick off, you begin to understand that its not just a piece of cake. ;)

Most people give up after they're frustrated from "not earning substantial income" after 2-3 months. But the guys who stick around are the actual winners.

Since you're starting off, like the guys above mentioned, go the article marketing way. Make a Blogger/WP blog, submit some articles, and you'll be good. Even one sale at this point is quite encouraging. :)

Or, if you have a few bucks to spend, buy a keyword-rich domain name (for a highly searched term), do some SEO research, build a content network, or a review website, and you'll do good.
