Has anyone been successful with Affilates by Email or News Letter marketing. I was thinking about implementing it. Those who are: How targeted are your lists? How many emails on your list? How often are you sending emails?
What do you mean by "successful with Affilates"? Do you mean trying to gain new affiliates, or with selling your affiliate products? Jim
Depending on the site, I send out at least one email per month. How targeted? Depending on the theme of my site. If I have a business phone related website, them my email list is mainly people interested in phones that have already signed up on my website (I already know they are interested in business phone systems, so I send out hot phone deals and news on new phones, etc ...) I used a 3rd party opt-in email autoresponder - validates email addresses and gives user chance to opt-out if they desire.
Good Question Jim, should have been more clear. I am talking about selling affiliate products. I was mainly think of those who have a website that caters to a specific type of user that has a user list of names and email. THen finding an affiliate product that would be of interest to those users and starting a newsletter with content but also advertising the affiliate products. So you have had successful sales anton? How many emails do you normally send to. What type of sales success rates have you had?
