Affiliate Marketing VS Adsense

    hey,

Adsense provides web publishers with passive income. Place the code in the blog or site, and let google adsense match the advertisers to your site. It's fairly simple and easy to integrate.

Affiliate marketing on the other hand allows affiliates to have more control over how they want to market the advertiser's products or site. You get more tools, more creatives, datafeed files, support from advertisers, and ofcourse way higher commissions for each sale or lead.

Anyone serious in generating big money through the internet should not do without affiliate marketing. While google adsense maybe the beginners preferred choice when starting out in monetizing your site's traffic, eventually you'll want to take charge of the advertising/marketing campaigns as there are many methods that you can implement to improve referral sales conversions.

Furthermore, google adsense has a certain instability, due to 'updates', changes in algorithm, price changes of ads, and so forth, can produce very irregular earnings from adsense.

Take charge of how you earn from the internet.

    Thanks,

It depends on what you like and what you want. As you said Adsense is simple for implementation, however you can not simply rate it easy when compared to affiliate marketing. Even driving traffic, blending the ads within the site, experimenting, tracking click through are tough tasks.

So, neither one is easy with one another. Its all how to engage and a bit of luck too.

If your traffic is low quality, i recommend going with adsense.

If your traffic is highly targeted. I recommend going with affiliate marketing.

Best words ever said "To have success with adsense is not to use adsense in the first place"

I do a little bit of both, becuz everybody doesn't shop online but they will click a link...lol. Really depends on your level of traffic. You need higher levels of traffic to make any "Real" money from Adsense.

In my experience, Adsense is a lot more intensive in the researching and preparatory phases. If you want to make money fairly quickly (2 or 3 months, tops) with Adsense, you just need to find a couple dozen high paying niches. But finding those niches and making sure the competition is low enough that you can rank within a few months is much harder than finding niche specific low competition, high search volume keywords (and not having to worry about CPC) which is what you do with affiliate marketing. Just the same, content for Adsense sites can (and, 9 times out of 10, is) pretty bland compared to the (comparatively) brilliant, heavy pre selling content of affiliate sites. Basically with Adsense to be effective you should be able to rewrite stuff on the internet pretty nicely. To be effective and make money from affiliate marketing you'll need to really know what you're talking about and to be able to write (or outsource) really great, attention grabbing content for the best conversions.

This is all comparing free methods for both (SEO and SEM). If you want to talk about Adsense Arbitrage vs. PPC or other paid method affiliate marketing then I'd wager PPC/other paid method affiliate marketing probably massively owns Adsense Arbitrage, but I have never done Adsense Arbitrage, it's just from what I hear.
