Hi everyone, was wondering how people handle the About Us, Privacy Policy, Terms and Agreement, etc items on there website. For example your marketing / publishing purple widgets from company A (of course we know that we make our living getting people to buy from a certain companies, do you put a spin on it so it seems your an unbiased person researching the best deals on purple widgets, treat the site as a latest news only type of site and not appear to be selling a certain purple widget Or are you completely transparent. Only reason I am asking is that I just read some Adwords tips and it mentions your site should contain these items to help you from getting banned.
I don't mention anything about the company I'm promoting in my privacy policy pages. In the about us page, I may say something like "this site is about finding the best deals on {what ever you're marketing}". They don't need to know anything else. And adwords won't ban you for not disclosing that you're an affiliate site in your ToS or private policy pages.
