One question from a beginner. I get a code form my affiliate partner i add it when it says buy it clicks through to there page and there description of the product. Should i create my own landing page or keep it as theres, i was thinking to keep a landing page out because to cut down on impulse buying time.

it would depend on both your landing and their page.
In my experience it's always better to use the page made by the affiliate program that sells the product since they obviously have worked on that page to make it convert as much as they can.

However it's not easy to answer without any screenshot of your landing page and theirs...

    hope this helps!

There has always been a bit of a debate as to which method works best. Some marketers tell you to just use your affiliate link to the merchants page, some tell you to create a landing page. Both have their pros and cons.Landing pages are primarily used to build your list by capturing the email addresses of people interested in the product,so that you can sell other product to them in the future,or as a pre sell before they click on your link to go to the merchants page. The problem with this is that the the customer has to click twice to get to the merchant page and they might not bother.
On the other hand , if you dont use a landing page then you wont be able to build your list.Best idea is to do both.Advertise one link that goes to the merchant directly and one that goes to your landing page and see which one gives you the most sales.
    Good Luck

I have tested both for the same product a number of times. I split tested and had one going to my landing page and the other going directly to the affiliate sales page. Time and time again, the link going to my landing page has brought me higher conversions.

Remember, most people, when searching to buy something, will "shop around". One of the advantages of having your own landing page is to presell your potential customer (warm him/her up to the sale) through such means as a personal review, realistic pros (and cons), and perhaps an incentive if they buy through your link.

Why not try both and see which works better for you rather than just settling. You may be losing money.

    EEKS!

That flies in the face of preselling. Any successful affiliate marketer will tell you that preselling is key BEFORE you get to the company (affiliate) sales page.
