This is a very general question just wanna know your thoughts.... I am thinking of making a website on affiliate marketing/ making money online website. This site would be geared towards newbies and it would explain everything from seo to affiliate marketing to selling online using eBay and other ecommerce websites. Wanna know how saturated is this market as well as how many useful articles would be needed to make it somewhat competitive.
The market is wayyy over saturated. First off, are you credible? People don't want to learn from someone only making $500 a month, they want to learn from someone making 5 or 6 figures a year. Second, what VALUE can you provide to people that others can't? In my opinion the only way people will read your blog is if you narrow it down to a specific niche. For instance something purely on SEO basics or article marketing, but they have competition as well.
This is one the the most targeted markets online. Try blogging about it you might do better then having a regular website.
any thoughts on the number of articles? When it comes to blogs, how many submissions a day(atleast 2??) And is there a lot of competition because its profitable and people are making money off it or because its just a popular subject that everyone and their mothers try to write about??
If you intend to get into a saturated market, your best bet is to plan on a long term strategy. Expect to post at least once a day for months before actually experiencing any significant traffic. I know that is a downer but it is realistic. If you can stay consistent and stay on track with your long term goals, you should experience relative success. There is a lot of competition because many think that there is a ton of money to be made in the niche. And....there is! if you are willing to put in the work to get there.
