I am still very new to anything to do with Web Publishing, and making money online. From where I sit at the moment, earning very little through CPM advertising, the idea of starting Affiliate Marketing, or "taking the plunge", it really does sound like a good idea. Only problem is that I am unemployed, into debt up to my ears, and will find it hard to put anything into this apart from the 100$ I have in my AdWords account! haha No seriously though, this is something that I want to try out and see where it leads me, just a matter of getting the right information, and following through from there. I have been told that although it is daunting to get into Affiliate Marketing, it really is extremely simple. I'll see how it goes!

It is actually the wave of the past as well. Many of us have been doing this for many years. In fact adsense has lost a ton of ground but Affiliate marketing has actually grown tremendously. How ever I really need to point out that you need to pay attention to where you post. There is a section on DP for affiliate marketing and this is not the section. This thread may get deleted and you maye get an infraction so you need to be more careful.

I agree, But How one can get surprised success in this field. No doubt working hard is the prerequisite but sometime people work very hard but to no avail. Would anybody suggest some ways after which someone's handwork may not become a waste of time. Thanks

it's all about finding that special niche guys. You have got to do your research thoroughly to ensure you don't waste your time promoting a product that doesn't earn you sufficient income in terms of the time you spend on it.
For me affiliate marketing is the online version of traditional marketing. You can earn a lot even while sleeping. Hope I will get some tips on how to be a great affiliate marketer.
