True, I think affiliate marketing is the best thing if you want to go in tons of different markets but if you have a really solid expertise and business plan with a proper support team, being the product owner and getting tons of affiliates also work pretty well.
I also think its better option and more profitable compared with only publishing ads. I mix them both, but serious money are in the affiliates and one can easily get banned(without any fault) these days from Adsense - smth which won't happen with your affiliates. So... lets start selling
