Hey fellow affiliate marketers, Created this post to find out what is the tool that you guys are using to track your clicks & conversions for your affiliate or CPA marketing campaigns? I was previously using ClickMagick, but have since switched to ClickMeter for over a year now. Bit.ly is also another popular tool (other than just being used as a URL shortener). Google Analytics would only work if the links are from your own site. Let's discuss and debate away! Alvin
I mostly use Google Analytics(MUST) and Statpress on my WordPress Site. Sometimes, I use Statcounter too. these 3 for website. For cloaking an affiliate links, I used the following style. yourdomaindotcom/recommends/targetedtosaleslandingpage/ Hence, I seldom use bit.ly or goo.ly. To check the clicks, login to my affiliate account. Thank you Have a great day!
Google Analytics is a must-have analytic tool for your website. Oh that works too. I find that it is vital to track it yourself so as to ensure the accuracy of the affiliate account (accurate 99% of the time). I'm currently using ClickMeter for my affiliate marketing & clickbanking (not the Clickbank marketplace) activities.
I used to use sitemeter.com for all my sites because it will tell you what people clicked on to get to your website and what they clicked out of (if they clicked on anything that left your website). But it will always tell you when someone clicks on something.
I work with own sites only, so Google Analytics is enough for me. But I used own shorturl script (and domain) with many settings for posting to other sites.
That's nice. To be honest, Google Analytics is sufficient enough for most when set up correctly (e.g. UTM). How are you shortening your links at the moment, since Google UTM links are usually very lengthy.
Now I use modified own script. I use my own special-generated UTMs and script knows how to autogenerate the same way. In other words I just order script with required features, pay and receive what I need
