Hi, Does anyone need software to manage their Datafeeds? I ask this because I have working on software, similar to the structure of Wordpress that allows you to manage your feeds and organize your data. For example, if you ran a iPod site, but the feed you got from Target has everything in it, including iPods. This software lets you configure it to only grab iPods or any product based on brands, color, size, department, category, etc. It also creates unlimited thumbnails of each item to your criteria (size, filename, etc). Reporting tools to view how many items where added, removed, updated, price changes, etc every day. I could not find any software for Affiliates on the publisher side, but I have been using my own software for years and I recently been making it into a boxed up package like system so that anyone with a normal server setup can use it (CentOS, apache, etc). I also have been looking into making this into a Wordpress plugin as well as a stand alone. So that users of WP can just throw this in there and instantly start having more control over their datafeeds. any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
I think it is better to include all affiliate programs logins in your plugin like famous cpa companies. If they login to that and it automatically post affiliate product in their blog.
I don't quite understand what your explaining. If you mean about the datafeeds and FTP accounts on the different networks, that can all be added (the login info) and automatically downloaded onto your server's feed directory.
I am looking for a all in one solution to setup an affiliate publisher store. I have been searching the net, posting on forums, contacting software houses, but cant find any software for affiliate publishers. The only thing I keep running into is other people looking for the same. So either I am completely misunderstanding the affiliate thing or there is a gigantic gap in the market. Can you post more about your software and about other software that is useful?
