The affiliate links via PM rule or make posts to promote affiliate programs via pm is clear to me, however can i create a thread to promote affiliate links via my email that i will leave to the public on my thread? users will contact me via the email and not over the PM. is the rule is to avoid making threads to promote affiliate programs at all or just via PM.

You may not, in any way, actively promote affiliate links, referral links, or related things (such as pushing incentive offers where you're paying people to complete deals so that you'll be paid more for their sign-ups) - no different than telling people to sign up under an affiliate link for something.

You may not try to get around the no affiliate links rule by asking people to PM you, asking people to email you, linking to a landing page instead of the direct affiliate link, or linking to something like a video that might have the affiliate link included (all ways we've so far had people try to get around the rule).

You may only passively promote affiliate links by placing them in your signature. You may not actively promote them. You may not post, PM, etc. to try to bring attention to that sig link.

I think that about covers it.
