Hey people, I`ve been running a campaign on search marketing for a few days.. traffic is still low, I would have one question thou. Is anyone using their affiliate links as landing pages in their campaigns, to drive customers right to the merchants homepage ? Isn`t it agains SM TOS ? What about adwords ? Does it make higher conversions? I was wondering because I`ve never tried it. Thanks Alex
i am not sure i understand you, but i also have problems with the traffic i get from them. i had to make a separate landing page just for their traffic to discover where the clicks actually come from. only one third come from yahoo actually. the rest is from so called partners and at least for me that is totally useless traffic, it is not real people who are interested in your website. somehow these are redirected clicks from god knows where. the actual traffic from yahoo converts very well from me. the rest is just clicks and no website use or conversions or anything.
Yes, I have used many times, I think it isn't Yahoo SM TOS. In my experience conversion doubled when I use affiliate linkthen my site link.
