    I am fairly new to the world of affiliate marketing and found my way to this forum by searching for information on something.

    Now I am here and I see there is some good information here.

    I wonder if anyone can shed some insight into this.

    I have noticed a lot of variation with wither or not a affiliate has cloaked their link in some way or not. Now if you cloak it for tracking purposes, as I do, then it makes sense. But is there any reason not to cloak your link?

    Please share your thoughts,

    Do you use affiliate links as they are generated by CJ or Clickbank, etc?

    Or do you cloak your link?

    If so, why? Is it also for tracking purpose, or is there another reason to do this?

    Cloaking is good option,specially when you are spamming social networking sites or may be yahoo answers.
