    He,

I am begineer to affliate marketing (as my name suggests :) )

Can anybody tell me if we hide our affliate link using iframe technique, will clickbank not recognize it my sale?

    Let me explain my question.

Say My affliate link (hop link) is, http://clickbank.com?myid=1365 . Visitor clicks on this link and goes to my affliate site, say http://myaffliatesite.com?myid=affbeginner Now say visitor change this url to
http://myaffliatesite.com So my id has been removed . Now even though this visitor buy the product , I wont get commission as my id has been removed by the visitor.
    Does above make sense?

So considering above problem, I have found a solution (as I am a PHP programmer). I use an iframe and that way even though visitor reaches the site http://myaffliatesite.com?myid=affbeginner the URL in the address bar will be http://myownsite.com only .

No what I want to know is, whether above technique is cosidered as valid in clickbank?
Does clickbank counts this sale ?

Sorry for long explanation as I told I am a beginner.

Yeah you can cloak your affiliate link, personally I use a HTML Meta Redirect, but it's up to you how you cloak it.

If you want to hide your affiliate link why dont you use tinyurl.com service it will perfectly hide your affiliate link by giving you their own URL and you dont have to do any programming or editing also simple HTML link...

most marketers use this to hide their affiliate links

    hope this helps...

I tried to create a sample tinyurl for the URL test.com. It gave me http://tinyurl.com/7h4l
But when I tried this URL in browser, it shown the test.com . So the purpose of hiding test.com url is not getting served.
    Am I making any mistake?

yes certainly you are doing a mistake... lets say for click bank as you are asking

hoplink.clickbanksite.com --------->> this is your affiliate link on click bank site
when you place this link in tinyurl then they will give you their URL and when any body clicks on the tinyurl they will automatically get forwarded to the advertiser site and your click bank affiliate link will not be in picture any more...

try with your affiliate link and see and then let me know

    hope it helps...

Oh.. I guess my question itself is wrong. Sorry for that.

Actually I want to hide the advertiser site's URL as well. As that URL contains my id at the end.
So the current flow is, I click the link on my site > it redirects to other page of my site say page2.php (I have introduced this middle page so that people can not see the my clickbank link) > It redirects to clickbank > It redirects to advertizer's site.

But what I want is, I click the link on my site > it will go to other page of my site say page2.php > it will be redircted to clickbank > later on advertizer's site, but it should always preserve page2.php in address bar.

    This is my requirement.
