Today we received an email from one of our affiliates, lets say his CBID is 123(To protect his information), so his affiliate link is http://123.pagestyle.hop.clickbank.net/?gid=&oid=&aid=&tid=&a=Index.aspx His Clickbank account is still active. I click the link, then the browser (IE and Firefox) say "This site is no longer in service or has been disabled due to a terms of service violation". (Of course, the link above can display.) Our other affiliates' links are OK and still making sales. Our website is OK, our servers are OK, our clickbank account is OK. The affiliate and I have emailed clickbank to know why that happened. It takes 2 business days to get their feedback. So I post here and hope you can tell me the reasons. I appreciate your help.
not entirely sure, but looks like something violates the TOS for the affiliates cb account, maybe he is in a country that cb wont allow or has done something dodgy ie stuffing
It may be the problem with affiliate account. Why not do a test trial with another account set up by him?
His account is still active. He said he would wait the feedback from CB to know WHY that happened. He prefers one account.
Ive heard, cb doesn't always (ie rarely) informs users that their accounts have been disabled / deactivated ie you can still login to the account as normal
He can still sell other products under his account, so there must be something else wrong with his account, but I can't figure out.
