Hi, Is there such word as Affiliate link building? if so what is it all about? is it link exchange? or what?
Affiliate link building? Sounds like promoting your affiliate link as much and efficiently as possible. A few of my affiliate links have ranked for keywords in Google, but this is something that does not happen often in my experience.
If you start an affiliate program, and your affiliates add your banners to their sites, they will be counted as Affiliate Link Building. For example, the incoming links for each banner can be like www.yoursite.com/?referrerID=1 So the incoming links from Affiliates will count as a backlink to your site. Of course if you use a JavaScript based Affiliate system to track your links or some other method, they will not count as back links. Some sites also provide SEF Affiliate links, like www.yoursite.com/mysite/ where mysite is the refferer code.
