    Hey,

I've seen the program Affiliate Hijacker around for a little while now. I was just wondering if anybody has run into any copyright infringement issues with this product. There seems to be two attitudes toward this product:

"It allows you to clone a merchant's site and that allows you and the merchant to make money faster. Not an issue."

"This product violates copyright and that's illegal. You could be sued."

So, anybody have copyright issues with AH?

hello. I can tell you that i asked around on webmaster forums a while ago, and the majority of vendors answered that its fine to sell their products once they understood how Affiliate Hijacker works.

Also...we always say "in case of doubt, ask a vendor for permission please".

On a technical note it might be interesting to mention that AH does not store or host *any* parts of a vendor's site on your host since this all happens virtually.
Also, since we have the "overlay banner" feature we can now add content to any site without touching the site. Although many vendors are fine promoting their products that way they sometimes dont want that their site layouts be altered, like rewriting texts or changing images.
Thats why we added the banner-feature.

Up to this date i have not have ANY request/complaints in regards to copyright issues.

    Georg.
