Well, I should clarify that I'm NOT doing $250,000/month. That's just the goal. :)

If you want it bad enough I'm sure you'll achieve it. I'm back to the 9-5 tomorrow which is all the motivation I need.

Shawn, I gotta ask. Have you *ever* made 100K+ in a single month thru affiliate income - maybe ebay ?

I reckon maybe I'm setting my sites too bloody low !

What else - oh yeah, my other new years resolution - I've not had a smoke for 6 days - cold turkey ! w00t !!! :D

    Cheers,

Well done, I quit 6 months a go and the main benefit its given me is an extra hour every day. Put that to use on one of your sites and as well as the usual benefits your sites will also thank you.

Again well down so far, keep it up. If you need any support PM me.

    Thanks dcteam,

Encouragement is always a good thing :)

I have a supportive family (though my daughter is 2 young to grasp long boats) :)

As for time, well I'm reclaiming that hour or so for myself - my current work day averages 14 hours - something I plan to change soon enough :)

    Cheers,

    JL

Your welcome, I know what it takes to quit. Having support around you is the best way to succeed, also a young daughter should act as great motivation.

14 hour days are bad when your working for somebody else (been there more times than I care to remember). Though I don't mind working on my own stuff for 8 hours after a full day in the office (which really I should get back to ;) )

Yeah... I have, but split between different programs. I've never received $100k in a month from a single program.

Wow! You truly are a super affiliate. I think they say that only like 3% of all affiliates earn more than a couple hundred dollars a month (or something like that).

I'm doing pretty well in my mind and in comparison to the average, but nowhere even in the ballpark of 100k a month! For the average person, an 100k a YEAR income is a huge income.

Did it all sort of happen all at once? How long have you been in the affiliate business? I've been doing it for about two years and things have really taken off this year.

Anyway, it's great to know it can be done (making that much money) but I would think an extremely low number of affiliates (that are not big business websites) make over 100K a month.

    I'll shoot for 25k a month I think. :)

I'm going to shoot for $5,000 a month before the end of the year. The earlier the better.

There, now I have a number I need to reach.
    I can do it.

That's just awesome. I'm not that ambitious yet - that is, I don't know that I could pull it off with my resources, so I'll stick with the 25K per month goal and revise as i go..

I hope you do the 250K - If you do, I'll be asking how ! :)

And.. what on earth is Frisbee Golf ? I would have thought maybe throwing a frisbee from green to green, but you mentioned pars - maybe each try is a par ?

We don't have it that I'm aware of down under - and it sounds COOL :)

    Cheers,

    JL

My goal is to get my profit running again! I am only in this business for a month but was doing well with about $100 a day, but than my conversionrate suddenly went down and I reached my creditcard limit, leading to google to suspend my account

I would like hit the 10K mark for a single month. Based on historical growth, I think that will be achevable by the end of the year.

    Build a minimum 2 sites a month.

    Promotion, of course.

Examine other avenues for affiliate income potential; I 100% into product pushing, and that means my month to month can vary considerably. I'm thinking I might check into some pay per lead programs.

Well, since I've finally made it back to the boards, I'll add a bit about my goals.

Add lots of content, develop a couple new sites I have in mind, and most important, earn enough that I don't have to do medical transcription anymore, which will free up tremendous amounts of time for me, and allow me to really get serious about affiliate marketing.

I'm going for 10k/month by the end of the year... The SE's are slowly indexing my pages so the sooner they do that the more traffic I will get, and the more money I will make. Shawn I'm trying to get some of that money that you are making though, it's good to know that it is possible with dedication.

My goal is to make owning a website my full time job. I'm far from knowing what it takes to truly be successful on the internet, but I'm getting there.

Right now I'm averaging a hair less than $1 a day. I know it's a lot, try not to be too jealous. By the end of the year I want to be making $100 a day. By the next year, $500 a day. By day I'm a dba/web developer for a small-ish company, so I'm usually too tired of making dynamic sites by the time I come home to make more for myself. I also have spent a good amount of time learning SEO the past 6 months and applying things to the sites we own and manage at work. Now I'm ready to combine all my skills, put my nose to the grindstone, exploit some niches I've tracked down, acquire links til my fingers bleed, and work on making enough money to have no mortgage on my house in a few years.

Well, my goal for 2005 is to finally earn a residual income from the 'comfort' of my home! :) I wish I quit my daily job, I've alrady had some success with affiliate programs and adsense, so I hope this year is going to be much more successful than the last year :)

To be Anthony's agent, 10% of Anthony's Income from 10% of Shawn's income would do for me ;)
