Affiliate Goals & Resolutions for 2005

Well it's almost a new year so I wanted to get a lively New Year's Resolutions
discussion going.

As you may know you have a MUCH better chance of attaining your goals if you put them in writing. So use this forum to brainstorm and commit to those things that will make 2005 more prosperous and rewarding than 2004.

I'll start with some of the goals I have for my affiliate management consulting business in the coming year:

Affiliate Telephone CONFERENCE CALLS. This has been on the to-do list in my head for months. It's a very cool plan that would be very beneficial to all. I just need to *commit* and make it happen.

Start submitting 5 Star Press releases

Have several new AM related business ideas I want to launch that compliment what I am already doing. Am starting to work on them over the holidays during the lull, before January hits and I get busy with all of our new program launches.

Find a way to capitalize on the HUGE % of new leads that I end up turning away or referring out.

What are some of you doing next year to improve your business and bottom line???

 

No One has any goals for next year??? What about ways to generate traffic so you are not so reliant on natural search algos, or more offline marketing, or double your income, or build 3 new sites???

Anyone?

 

my mindset is still in vacation. i'll try formulating this weekend

 

more content, thus making more traffic possibilities is my main goal.

I am also thinking of making a new site, but it might end up being just a sub-domain.

But the main new years resolution is to actually put more time into this affiliate marketing and getting my ideas down and tranformed into actual sites that serve their set purpose.
With a full time job, and school at night it will be hard, but I want it to work so I can get out of the full time job and back into working at home, for myself.

I say somewhere in between August and October this should be done.
So should all my school. w00t!

• Sell my day job
• Double web revenue
  • Submit to more directories
  • Write more articles for links
  • Build more content
  • Make my two newest web sites successful
  • Figure out how to make The Internet Search Engines FAQ commercially successful
• Move to Belize
• Go fishing with Ferret

I made 50 cents yesterday

 

Our service is called 2ndSite.

My goal is to get 22,222 [note the #2!] users by year's end. As of this morning we currently stand at 5630.

Shawn: re Disc Golf

Great game, eh? (Yes I'm Canadian)

I came out the Ultimate Frisbee vein to it myself. We have three registered disc golf courses here in Toronto. We play a lot of "make up the course as go" disc golf here as well - especially once the weather turns to winter, or it's the wee hours. Disc golf is great because you can pretty much play anywhere anytime. We had a fourteen hole round on New Year's eve – ‘twas icy as can be at the time, which makes those drives a little treacherous Let me know if you are ever in Toronto and looking for a game.

 

The goal for the year is to leave the day job. This will be done by having another 3 sites, producing annual earnings of 100K USD.

No where near Shawns league, in fact it sounds like its not even the same sport.
