How effective this article marketing is?I have seen many articles in which people are trying to promote their referral links of amazon, click bank etc,so do they really get some good amount of sales from those articles?Any suggestions on how to write excellent articles and usually how long an article takes to get crawled by search engines,so we can get targeted traffic towards our article.
It's pretty effective, but tedious work. My suggestion is you must have knowledge about the niche you're promoting. If you're promoting weight loss product then you should know what Atkins diet is, etc. Also, you need to have passion about that niche. Since article marketing is tedious, if you don't have passion for it, soon you'll end up abandon it. Excellent articles usually are well-researched. So you need to research first before writing. Your article usually crawled in several hours, less than 24.
Article marketing for affiliate products was working before - the google update - but as of now with new algorithm in place - article sites have been pushed at the back-foot. Now, the only option left is to create a landing page and try to get traffic to that landing page from various sources... hope this helps...
First, you have to like your niche and probably it something you're interested with. In that case, you won't have hard times writing great articles about your niche and insert precise keywords. You'll get crawled in less than 24 hours.
So first you wanted to know about Clickbank with Google Adwords...then you realized that wouldn't work so now you're asking about articles? As infogle correctly explained, article marketing does not work nearly as well as it used to before the Google update.
My advice is to submit to ezine... it will get crawled quickly, and also there are many ezine regular readers. But you need to write good quality articles.
I am not decided yet to stick to one method of promoting programs like clickbank etc i am still researching but once the visitor search something and visit our article so why not we just put our direct affiliate link in the article body instead of first creating a landing page then redirecting a visitor to it.And dlm last time you told me to first start with article and if its successful than switch to adwords, why didn't you tell me about this update at that time?
Personally I think article marketing works, but it is limited I have found youtube a much better market for advertising, though second to my main website.
