Affiliate Business Models & Execution

    Hi
    From what I gather, there are various models to make money from affiliates game.

    a) Niche Affiliate marketing
    Join affiliate network (eg. Adsense, CJ, Clickbank) and then create sites to market their products.

    b) Affiliate Network
    An extension of (a) but instead an affiliate network site is created by joining affiliate programs and then aggregating affiliate programs into one network/community site.


    c)Affiliate Program Ownership
    Find or create or "steal" a unique product and create a Affiliate program around it. License the program to affiliates and sit back watch the manna fall from heaven!

    Questions:
    1) Which of above is easiest, fastest and most profitable model?

    2) Is it OK for the non-techie to use CMS like joomla or drupal be used to create site for the above models? Or is it better to get do customised web design from scratch? Or are there any ready made affiliate template script for above that we can use?

    The easiest way is to create a site about something you are knowledgeable about and then stick affiliate links on it. Use a CMS if you have to but its better to build it yourself.

    Mad4 is right. I'd suggest you use wordpress as it's very SEO friendly.

    it`s not about model and good looking web site, it`s about making sale, there is no easy way in affiliate marketing

    Hi Uberman.
    First, if you expect to do something quick and easy and "sit back watch the manna fall from heaven!", then you will most likely be disapppointed.
    Whether you are starting out in affiliate marketing or sub-affilitates (or pretty much anything else for that matter), it will take work.
    Definitely agree with Mad4 and Toby - as they say, start out with somethning you know, and hopefully are passionate about, and stick to it. It also helps if the topic is not ultra-competitive. I'd recommend Wordpress as well. Have patience. Develop links. Be creative.
    You're obviously at the right place to read and learn - keep asking questions and learning and you'll be well on your way.
