Okay, I had an idea about setting up a site that makes it's proffit solely from Affiliate schemes. I was wondering if it's possible to offer incentives (in forms of cash or gifts) to get people to signup for services via my site. I've found one site that pays affiliates $25 per $1 signup. So if someone signs up to the site via me, it costs them $1 but I get $25. Could I offer a reimbursement as an incentive? Here's how it works: So basically Customer A signs up and pays $1. I receive $25 affiliate payment. I pay Customer A their $1 back. - So Customer A effectively gets the service for free. I could also offer different types of reimbursement; instead of offering 100%, i could offer 50% ($0.50) or 200% ($2) depending on what the affiliate bonus is. Obviously the latter (200% reimbursement) means that Customer A will be doubling his money, and not only getting a free service, but proffitting from it! Is this legal, does it break most affiliates TOS etc? How 'do-able' is this idea?
Please read the TOS of the affiliate program, I think you will get banned. They won't pay you for nothing.
the kind you are talking off... is called as INCENTIVE Marketing... i dont think advertiser will love that
Incentive marketing is going down, try to use ppc marketing. P/S : Can you pm me your affiliates program, that pay 25$ per 1$ sign up
Well that's that idea out of the question! Thanks all. I have another business idea - how about I sit at home watching TV and take note of keypoints in every programme and then people can pay me for the notes so they can catch up on programmes without having to waste time watching telly. (this is a joke btw)
