    www.freezens.com launched March 30th 2005.

It was acquired by our company last November. It uses the FSRS script but has been significantly modified since we took over management of the site. Since November we have been able to increase the monthly revenue of the site while also increasing the profit margin.

We are now selling the site because we have a major project under way and require the time spent on freezens.com for the development of something bigger. We can disclose our main projects to any buyer should the need arise.

Freezens is now rich with features as the standard script was heavily modified by our in house team. Changes were made to make the site more secure both for users and ourselves. This led to a dramatic decrease in fraudulent signups on the site which in turn is responsible for some of the increase in our profit margin. In addition to changes to make the site more secure we also implemented a number of ideas to make the site easier to use again both for admin and users. Such work led to an increase in revenue and an increase in new signups.

In February we did some SEO work for the site. Word of mouth rather than search rankings play the main part in this industry. However, we looked at improving serps for top keywords. Our work is now beginning to bear fruit and the percentage of visitors arriving from search engines has doubled. We have also recently submitted the site to directories which in turn will become active over the coming months and benefit the site.

In addition to any promotion the owners of the site do this niche also benefits from user promotion. We have a user base of over 21,000 members now. Many of these actively promote the site using their referral id or our banner ads. Many again promote the site in related forums or blogs again promoting our brand name.

Freezens currently requires minimal time to manage. I would say 15-30 minutes a day is required and the return is great. However, this is 15-30 minutes a day that we can’t really spare due to other projects. In addition the sale of the site will raise funds to help furnish our new expanded office. Main jobs for the day include checking credits in affiliate areas, checking update emails, answering any member support tickets and processing any orders that are placed.

Revenue for freezens comes from affiliates. We are quite unique in our niche due to the sheer number of offers we have. Most sites do not cater to users outside U.S but our site caters to a variety of countries. We have recently noticed a surge in Russians joining the site. At the time of listing this sale we have 614 offers available. This may seem huge but don’t worry you don’t need to sign up to 614 different companies and accounts. All of our offers are supplied by 3 main affiliate networks who provide tracking, payments and everything you require. They even send you daily updates…

The site is currently hosted on one of our company servers. It does not take a great amount of disk space 150mb and uses small bandwidth also 2-3gb. The traffic for the site is quite low but the traffic that is coming is highly targeted. Given that most are coming from word of mouth they know what the site is about before even landing on the page.

Affiliate companies pay us monthly through paypal. They can pay through wire or cheque but we prefer paypal. The recent stats are slightly skewed because we had problems with our paypal account in April. As a result for this month of May we received 3 payments from affiliates rather than our usual 2. I am going to attach traffic stats and some payment stats. If you require any further details just make a post or send me a pm. We prefer escrow for payment of the site. We will only disclose affiliate companies to the winning bidder as this knowledge in itself is worth a fair bit of money. Monthly costs are for user rewards. The vast majority choose paypal payments. If you view February stats we ran a competition which doubled our signup rate but increased our costs. While this decreased profit for the month it had a knock on effect for the next months increasing revenue.

With a userbase of over 21,000 this site is available to grow exponentially in the right hands. Our developments have provided the functionality and infrastructure for any new owner to take the site on. I still have a number of ideas for the site which I have just been unable to implement due to time constraints. These again will be shared with any new owner.

One of our main business ventures is in expired domains. We acquired an expired domain at the beginning of the year that would be suitable for the new Nintendo system. However due to time constraints once again we were unable to utilise it effectively. We have setup the basic FSRS script on www.nintendokingdom.com a 2003 pr2 previously pr3 domain. This site has not been used yet but will be added to this sale and has great potential. The licensed script alone cost over $100. Both domains included in this sale are registered with godaddy and available to transfer.

Couple of other things to mention. You will notice from our affiliate screenshots that we swapped mainly from one network to the other at the beginning of the year. The bottom earning network now wants us back and has offered a 5-10% increase on commissions on what the current network is offering. This would be negotiated for any new owner also and increase revenue automatically 5-10% on the site.
