    Dang, I think I messed up already!!

You'll receive another email from us officially welcoming you to the Program once we've reviewed your Web site.

    What website:confused:
    I don't have a website!!
When I signed up they asked to name the site, I thought
    I was naming my aStore.

Do you have to have a site/blog first to sell Amazon products?
    Will my application be rejected?

    Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, I create a free blog at blogspot when I applied to amazon.

Anyway, how come you already have an aStore when you haven't even accepted as an associate ?
What is the website url you input in the application form back then ?

Actually I just bought a domain name and I thought I'd name my aStore
after it. I don't 'think I have an aStore yet, there was a link for me to start
building one until my application is accepted.

Now I don't think it will be since it's pointing to a site that is not even up yet.
How long does it usually take to get accepted?

    P.S.

    Thanks for answering my questions!!

If they deny your Application, I think you should resubmit it again.. when your website is up.. or make a free blog temporarily on your website and then submit your application... and nothing better than that if they accept your current application for Amazon Associates. :)

Hey, don't fret it too much. Amazon is a fairly easy program to appease.

If you were looking at EPN that would be a different story! :)

    Yeah, your right:eek:
I am making it more harder than it seems.
Don't know why I do that too myself sometimes.
Just have to take it one step at a time.

    Thanks for the advice.

    What's EPN?

Acutally I deleted the store added two more and the store I deleted
came back for some odd reason, I'll just leave that one alone and continue
to work on my other stores.

    Thanks chipimbiri:)

You have very focused products (anything that's pink?) and I'm sure that's a good thing.

The overly whit-ish background is a bit harsh on the eyes though...

Good luck in your first store!

    Thanks for the review Webchoice!!
I choice the white background so the pink would really stand out and
besides if you go to Amazon that's how all of their products on the site
    are displayed as well.

I tried getting a pink background and it didn't look right so I went back
    to white.

    Thanks again!!:)

    Confused between WordPress.org and WordPress.com

    WF post:
Amazon affiliate sites are allowed on Wordpress installations you host.
They are not allowed on Wordpress.com.

WordPress.org, you can install themes and plugins, run advertisements, edit the database and even modify the PHP source code. Anyone can download the software for free but it must be installed on a web server before it will work.

Anybody here who is an Amazon Affiliate promoting products on a blog you have to host it on your own site in order to allow affiliate links?
