"If you have your own website affiliate networks are great. If don't have many users (under 30,000 uniques/day) and they are all focused on your subject area a good rule of thumb is you can make $2.00 off affiliate ads for every dollar you make off adsense." - Plentyoffish.wordpress.com Anybody anything to say? Thank you.
Exactly as Jarod said, I personally think adsense will be profitable than placing only affiliate links, provided if you have natural 30K uniques a day.
I do have both. At present I run adsense and two affiliate programs. Affiliate #1 produces very little. Affiliate #2 produces about ten times the revenue adsense does... Its all about the nature of your traffic and the relevancy of the affiliate program...
do both, adsense on the first fold of the page, affiliate links in the middle & bottom currently i make more money from affiliate programs than adsense you might want split test pages between affiliate links & adsense
Usually affiliates goes better on sites with low traffic, but after getting high traffic the affiliate earnings will grow too.. PPC programs aren't going so well with low traffic..
I have some affiliate on my sig, but there's plenty more, just can't enumerate all of them, try a simple search
