Affiliate Marketing means you can register your self as "Affiliate" by a vendor of an specific product(s). The Vendor using this marketing technique will provide you with an special link (affiliate link) that you can use to promote the mentioned product. If some buyer click your link and access to the provider´s offer via YOUR affiliate link and buy the product. You (the affiliate) will receive an Affiliate Comission. The percentage you depends from the vendor (between 1 and 75% usually). The affiliate marketing allows the vendor to minimize their advertising cost, as the affiliate is paid only by success. For the affiliate, it is a good opportunity to get comissions without inventory or physical goods. There are also companies offering the option to be an affiliate on several products by having only one account. I.e. Comission Junction or Clickbank.
