Sup all. Im looking to create my own affiliate site. Well really for someone else. As of now i sell products on my site. People come to my site add products then pay me via credit card. I then have to go to my drop shipper and purchase from him and give him the shipping info etc. So i lose money through my merchant account and extra time. What I would like to do is just set up and affiliate program so when someone comes to my site and purchases a product it goes straight to my drop shipper and he takes care of it. All i do is collect the money. Make sense? Anyone have any experience with this? Am i looking at this the wrong way. Thanks
I do not think you require an affiliate program because to the best of my knowledge the purpose of an affiliate program is to have people selling your product for you. When they sell your product you then can award them with a % commission and keep the profit therefore eliminating the work of driving sales to your site. A couple things I might recommend would be to give your drop shipper limited access to your admin panel to ship the orders or if you wanted to prevent him from knowing what you are selling the products for then just export sales to an excel/csv file and send them to him that way.
