I may be wrong, but it seems that creating a profitable affiliate income is more time consuming and difficult than generating adsense income. I am about to push hard into a variety of affiliates. Any thoughts?
It depends what you are trying to promote. Think that you can have a 80$ comission if you sell pills for ex. with a 1 : 20-40 convertion . How much do you earn from 40 visitors with ad sense? I am sure that not more than 80$
it is easier to get a click than a lead in MOST cases but the lead pays out more... if you truely are just wanting the easy route clicks is the way to go but more money is made with leads and sales.
affiliate marketing is all about pre-selling the product you are promoting. if you do a good job with a good conversion you can make crazy money. with adsense you need a huge traffic to make a lot of money
Much of it is knowing what to promote and how. Join an affiliate network and talk to your affiliate manager. they should help guide you towards the best performing programmes. Good luck!
Thanks for the input. The difference in the volume of traffic needed for success seems to vary widely with each of these two schemes. And, as in the employment world, sales is where the money is!!
Affiliate programs tend to be harder to work with, but once you get the hang of them you can earn quite a bit more than Adsense. I and many others on here know that for a fact.
