The url's are too long and they don't fit it the input box, can I do anyhing or do I have to use tinyurl?
I just checked and it seems I can type past when it stops if I delete the > after the XXXXX. I don't understand HTML or anything, do I need the bits after that, I don't need to have anything in the 'your text here' so can this be modified. <A href="http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com/u/worldwid/t.asp?id=XXXXX"> YOUR TEXT HERE</a>
In the URI: field just enter http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com/u/worldwid/t.asp?id=XXXXX Then in the Link Name: field type enter the text how you'd like it to be displayed on your website, in your example it would be YOUR TEXT HERE
Actually now I have a CJ link to add to the sidebar and I want to make sure it tracks this website as I have more then one promoting this program the link is <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx" target="_top">Liquidation.com</a> <img src="http://www.tqlkg.com/image-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx" width="1" height="1" border="0"/> Do I just need the: http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx One more thing if anyone can answer so I don't have to create a new thread, how do I make my posts shorter and add the read more button - my homepage posts are too long. Thanks
if u want to prevent your affiliate ID from being subsituted you can get a PHP redirect script, or go to fantastico and set a redirect from there. so you might have www.domainname.com/(redirect) so you might have www.domainname.com/brainstorm -> linking to yr brainstorm generator affiliate ID.
No, I don't want a redirect, I just need to put a cj HTML text link in the wordpress sidebar blogroll and have it working and tracking the stats.
If it's just a standard link (http://....) you can put it in as explained above, if there is any Javascript or you need the tracking image you'll need to modify your sites template. To modify the template paste the CJ generated code in sidebar.php at the appropriate place.
