Affilaite ID Links

    I am working on my first affiliate website and need help from the pros. While desgining my site it appears that I cannot use the standard banners in the site design, so I have to modify the images to the right size.

    My question is instead of using the whole html code

    <a href="http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-XXXXXX-XXXXXX" target="_top">
    <img src="http://www.tqlkg.com/image-XXXXXX-XXXXXX" width="468" height="60" alt="" border="0"/></a>

    Can I just use the following link

    a href="http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-XXXXXX-XXXXXX

    with my modified image.

    I just want to make sure that I get the credit for the sale and its connecting properly to my CJ ID?

    Yes, you can, but your impressions will not be tracked by CJ. You should only see clicks, similar to the eBay program.

    I was wondering about this myself. I find that many ads are of unusual sizes but wasn't sure about whether or not we can just use the actual affiliate link. So we won't have any stats on it all until there is a sell??
