I hope I'm posting in the right place (I can't post in the affiliate marketing area for some reason?) I joined a payperclick affiliate program a few months ago and last month I sent hundreds of unique visitors. It said so in my report. I noticed I hadn't been paid for December's traffic so I emailed the affiliate manager to ask when I could expect payment. They sent it over right away but only paid me for 7 clicks. SEVEN. I, of course, emailed them back and asked about the discrepancy with their tracking system showing I sent hundreds of unique visitors to their site and they said that their Google Analytics is showing them something different. I told them to check again and then they asked where I was promoting their sites. I provided them with all of the details and it's been two days since they've replied. What would you have done in my situation? And how long before I pull all of my links and move on? (Their tracking system shows they owe me over £100!)
Hi burlyqlady, I'm sorry to hear that. It would depend on what their response would be. If they do pay me what is due, then I will continue promoting the product, although less enthusiastically as before. You might want to clear the kind of tracking they use and how they measure conversions. It's possible they have a different metric or computation that was not clear when you started with them. Hope that helps and that the issue is resolved soon! All the best!
Thanks so much for your response! The first one I've received after over 100+ views.. How long would you wait for a reply before you pulled all links and called it a loss? It's been over 2 days since they got back to me and we were replying back and forth.
I would personally wait a week. I would respond twice in that week. If nothing after that, screw them and move on...
