I must thanks Google Adwords Team for this rocking tool.Really awesome.--Check out them here from google itself--http://services.google.com/websiteoptimizer/ One of my affiliate page was not being shown on adwords due to poor quality score.I used website optimizer inside my adwords a/c after creating a landing page according to their instruction and now it is being shown at position 3 to 5 for 14 cent.Great! I tried to promote a ladies handbag company through my CJ affiliate link and google asked me $5 to activate some of the keywords. It is really terrific when you earn $2 to at most $10 for a good sale. Then i saw website optimizer inside my google adwords account and after watching their video i created two landing page and packed them under a new campaign. They are active and hope conversion will be good. If you are facing problems with low quality score, low CTR , higher CPC you must use website optimizer.Best of luck.
Yes Adwords Website Optimizer really rocks I would suggest it for all audiences, not only who has quality account problems.
i have looked at it briefly and hope to do some work with it. ONe quick question though do you actually create two different pages on your website and just cross compare which one does better? Or is it something on google's end that you setup? I'm gonna check out hte link and see if i can find my answer there thanks. rep'd
Normally You setup on your side a default page piece and setup on Google end alternatives. If you don't like this way, you could do a trick (I think): that you can setup the default page part and all alternatives parts on your side and just use variables on Google to tell witch page part to use.
I've added two different landing pages and added those to website optimizer control panel [?] and yes you've to add the java script code provided by them on your landing pages. Website optimizer track which one performs better and give also extra instruction to improve your page further. The basic landing page structure is like this-- Head line -Short , creative head line using the keyword. Image-- One related image to your product . You should name the image according to your product. Like 'Ladies hand bag' , 'Mountain Bike' etc. Short description-- Try your best to attract your visitor to purchase the item mentioning special features, money back, discount, free shipping, reputation of vendor etc. This short description should place right to the image. Call to Action a must-- You should place it immediately after your description. Adwords love it. A typical call to action button is like 'Add to shopping cart' , 'Buy now at discount , 'Purchase this great product' etc. I've noticed that placing 'About Us' and 'TOS' link at the bottom of the landing page improves quality score.
