Adwords vs Facebook

I'm starting to hear people beat the death toll for Adwords, mainly because of Facebooks new PPC program. Has anyone tried it yet and how does it compare to Adwords. For example, cost, ease of use, conversions, etc.

    Any insights would be helpful.

Google adwords is still very much one of the biggest PPC programs.

Facebook is catching up very quickly and there's a lot more easy money to make on there than on Adwords.

Though Google adwords a best and biggest PPC program but after 2 or 3 years later Facebook will take the place of Google adwords, I guess

Until Facebook provides equivalent levels search-related functionality to Google, I don't think we'll see a mass migration any time soon. Search is just too important to many advertisers - there's only so far you can get with context-sensitive display advertising, which is the biggest problem for Facebook ads right now: they might be cheap at the moment, but the commercial intent of display is low and the market is quickly becoming saturated to the point that it's no better than Google's display network.

It depends on the niche but they are both easy to use and can be very profitable if you know how to do it correctly.

Google is still top dog in my eyes, but Facebook is catching up. I still prefer Adwords, but wouldn't be against switching.
