    Hi,

I would like to advertise site with the cheapest key words (0.05 cents) and good click through rate. Previously, I just try to copy paste all the key word suggested by google. it directly make it into "on trial mode" and "Ads is slowing down" notice.

How do you guys use adwords for general promotion, and do not need customer to buy sometime. Just general promotion for all people.

    Thanks in advances

Since you just wanna do broad marketing you should just keep on searching for the inexpensive words. It shouldn't be too hard.

What do you mean general promotion? It has already been established, with years of studies and research and general intuition, that targeted marketing works better than mass marketing.

You are looking for the most profitable customer at the least possible cost. Seems like you are just looking for the least possible cost without recognizing the value of each click.

What's the point of spending .05 on the word "toy" if my site is not about toys?

Seank1, I see you point in targeted marketing. You are right if you need to sell something or sell services. Or get new member. Or the website is specific such as toys. My website is more general, so I am looking for mass marketing just for to introduce the new website.

thanks anyway, it give additional point of view.

obral, no website is simply "general". Every site can benefit from targeted advertising. Perhaps if you can shed some insight into your general website, we can give a little more help.

    True.

Your website has to do something!
    Does it provide information?
    It doesn't sell anything right?
Who is the information useful to? Everyone? Is it more useful to people with a certain problem, or more useful to people who like cars, or is it about nose picking?
    Everyone picks their nose! :)
But even with a topic like nose picking you can still narrow your advertising to keywords with phrases like nose, picking, hygine, personal hygine, what's my finger for, how my nose works, boogers, sinus, etc. etc.

Try and stump us and see if we can't narrow down your marketing efforts!
    muwwahahaha!

It's kind of the the 6 degrees on separation thing. You don't need to use keywords that are directly connect to your site. But, the word should have some type of connection to want to make people come to your site.

why don't you use specific keywords for each of your pages? that would seem like the logical thing to do.
