adwords tracking not updating

Anyone know why this might be? I setup adwords yesterday morning and started a campaign and later in the afternoon it showed I was getting hits on my keywords. And my server logs confirm im getting hits from places where I have adwords running. But about 2 hours later, and it remains that way this morning the campaign shows no hits. I run a report and nothing shows up either. Its like they were there for an hour then dissapeared.

Its alarming because I dont want to go over quota.

Are your keywords active for search? Are you sure you're selecting the right view (today, yesterday, all time, etc.)?

How many clicks are you talking about? If it was just a couple it could be that they were deemed fraudulent and were removed from your Adwords interface.

Also, keep in mind Adwords reporting can be delayed by up to 3 hours.

The best advice would be to contact the adwords support team....if you want an "official" answer. I assume if the clicks are not being reported then you're not being charged for them, so, you may just want to count them as freebies and not worry about it.

Your keywords are still active for search right?
