Can someone explain why there is such disparity between these two Google tools? Using the keyword "cough medicine" the Google keyword tool indicates that there are 90,500 monthly searches for this term. However, when using the Google Traffic Estimator Tool (Est. clicks per day), it would appear that you would only receive about 30 clicks per day or 900 clicks per month. That's less than a 1% click through rate. Would you not expect to receive more than 900 clicks for a search term that has 90,500 searches every month when your website is in the top 3 positions on Google?
As an exact match it has 8,100 a month, which would be over 11%, which is a good ctr - though I don't know why it would assume exact match, unless you've specified that.
