Hello! I'm new to adwords and I would like to know some tips that I should follow when planing a campaign. thanks, Vlad
This is a very simple question but the answer could fill a whole book. Here are a few tips though: - Create eye catching headlines and use the keywords you are targeting in them. - Be specific in your ads. - Test everything. - Always run at least two versions of one ad for a keyword group. And choose the one which converts better, then create a new ad and do the same. - Target specific long tail keywords. - To get a good quality score target for keywords you've used in your sales copy. However I suggest that you get yourself a copy of The definitive guide to google adwords. It was one of the best books on this topic I've ever read. Good luck
Two biggest, most general tips and powerful tips you need: 1.) keep your ctr above 10% for every keyword 2.) make your landing site at least 100 pages strong Do that from day one and you will be very rich.
Thanks a lot for you replies guys! Rep added I have also heard of a thing called "voucher" that gives you something like "bonus credit" ? And you have to put the voucher code somewhere.... but where?
Yeah, I know that, I'm registering for the first time Do I have to paste the voucher code while I register or can I do it after that?
Watch other competitor ads and study them If you selling product then add words like Sale, discount, limited quantity etc.
I think that you'll have to enter it after you'll register. Honestly, it's been quite some time since I've registered my AdWords account But it could be possible that you'll be able to use it somewhere in the middle of the registration. Edit: I've had to go check my AdWords account and I found that you can enter Promo codes under Billing Preferences. So I think it's possible to use it even after you'll register (but only once).
Test everything. And if you don't start making money right off the bat, don't get discouraged. It's a reasonably complex tool. And of course, have a lot of keywords in your campaigns..
