Adwords testing on new domains

    Hi.

I read on this forum that to avoid getting low QS on new domains and therefore trashing it since it's hard to overcome, you can test the ads on another domain (let's say a .info) and then once you make sure that the ads will be published, you direct them to the real domain and delete the contents on the other.

My question is, could you have problems with adwords detecting duplicate content and penalizing you for that?

That seems unnecessary to me...I run campaigns on new domains all the time and have "overcome" low QS simply by starting a new campaign.

It makes sense to me, but I still have my doubts about google remembering domains.

I agree with scott - that does seem unnecessary - just start a new campaign to start afresh on your QS
