Adwords Taking Longer To Approve Keywords?

    Hello,

I added a new keyword to a campaign that I've had running for quite some time. It's been over 24 hours and it's still saying that the keyword is not generating my ad -- the "if you have just added this keyword" et cetera language. Normally my keywords become active within an hour or less after I add them. Do you know if they're experiencing some kind of delay?

    Thanks,

There have been delay problems over the last 2 weeks. I'm not sure whether this is your problem but keep me informed if it stays that way.

    Hello,

Thanks for the reply. I chatted with an Adwords rep this morning and she said that it can take up to 48 hours for approval. I've just never noticed it taking this long before -- usually within an hour or two. Guess they must be really busy.

Depends a lot on your account history and your spend with them.

Dont worry, it is common. Last time when i created a new account in adwords, it took me 24 hours for my ad to get displayed.
