Adwords support unprofessional and incompetent

    Since days / weeks I am trying to start an Adwords campaign and had to contact Adwords support to see what's going on. Initially they told me that I violated TOS.

    I responded by asking:
    "Can you please specify which part of the TOS is not being complied with"

    5 days later I get this answer:

    This is very unprofessional and incompetent. I am not going to start studying the Google TOS line by line and take a wild guess what part has been violated.

    What is the big secret here? Why can they not point out which terms have been violated rather than sending me on a wild Goose chase.

    Well there you go - Adwords is a self-service system - if you're not willing to look at the rules why should Google tell you which ones you've broken? Imagine how long it would take for Google to respond to all of these and let people know exactly where in their ads or site they've gone wrong? The disruption to service for others who use Adwords would be huge so they're not going to do that.
