After waiting 7 weeks for my 1st ad to be reviewed, it was finally rejected.

With my new ad, i've now been waiting 4 weeks. Still under review.

    Why is Adwords sooooooooo slow??

    I'm not happy...............

    For a quick approval...

Follow the exact instructions that are needed and follow the guidelines... you will be approved much faster... but yes this demands some reading of literature present in the adwords site...

    hope this helps...

This never happened to us. What we noticed is that no one every clicks your ad because it never gets displayed if you put a low bid.

Personally we are not using Adwords anymore.

I would suggest that you send an email to Google or give them a call.

Text ads should take minutes to review not weeks.

You waited 7 weeks to be reviewed? Why didn't you just give them a quick call to hurry things up?

It shouldn't be that long. Usually it is other factors like low bid or low quality score. I had an issue with low Quality Score for 1/10 for about a week, changed my website to a new domain and presto ... Traffic and 10/10 for Quality. No extra approvals required. Support takes forever to get back to you.

If that is your only problem with adwords, prepare yourself, in the near future you will find even more problems, much worse than that

Thats really strange that they are taking so long. It only took me about 2 weeks for my ad to get considered. You should write an email to Adwords and inquire what is going on with your account.

I've noticed if you have an original site with nice landing pages it takes seconds/minutes for the text ads to be approved. If it is a link from CJ or you try to advertise some affiliate marketing site, it may take hours/days for it to be approved but more often than not rejected.

Are you promoting affiliate stuff on Adwords? The review process is getting stricter.

If it is taking days, there has to be something wrong with the way the ad is submitted or something.
It only takes a few minutes or maybe a couple hours at the most.
